Cadence Career Catalyst Workshops

This program run by faculty from UC Berkeley consisted of three workshops focusing on Creativity, Collaboration, and Building Influence geared towards supporting the growth of Cadence employees who are in their early career stages. Creativity Workshop: Collaboration enables employees to get better results faster and thus can significantly impact an organization’s success. Differences in employees’ skills, personalities, objectives, and priorities can create collaboration hurdles and potentially spark conflicts. Participants learn specific techniques and strategies for leading effective collaboration and conflict resolution. Collaboration Workshop: In technology, service, and media-oriented industries, innovation drives future business and is critical for a company’s long-term success. Operational excellence is no longer sufficient to stay ahead of the game. Participants learn about innovation, how to create a culture that promotes innovation, and techniques that enable team members to generate and evaluate ideas. Building Influence Workshop: This course gives you the tools and confidence to build networks that support your career goals and assists you in ways to influence others in your organization. To build internal and external networks that affect and accelerate your career. To apply active listening techniques that help you influence and network with others. To demonstrate how the power of perception and personality styles affects your influence on
