Schlumberger Product Management

The custom Schlumberger Product Management Program is a learning journey that encompasses both virtual elements and a live, five-day, immersive, in-person training experience. Before commencing the five-day program, we include a six-week online component that asks about two hours per week for digesting video lectures and readings, discussions with classmates, colleague surveys, exercises, and preparing for a simulation game. Throughout the five-day journey participants will build out and evaluate their Product Management Canvases culminating with storyboard pitches at the end of the 5 days. Following the in-person experience, Masterclasses are offered to dive deeper into specific topics related to a Current Offer, New Offer, and Launch Managers’ responsibilities as well as group coaching sessions to help participants design and pitch new customer experiences and business models. Completion of the Schlumberger Product Management Program includes a Certificate of Mastery in Product Management and a Business Case Pitch to Schlumberger executives. The program combines the latest in innovative thinking with the best of the Berkeley-Haas MBA program, to prepare participants to do innovative product management: understanding customers’ environment and needs, designing customer experiences, and mobilizing the organization to take action towards developing and maintaining sustainable competitive advantage.
