UBS, in collaboration with Berkeley Executive Education and led by Professor Panos N. Patatoukas, is launching a specialized program designed to help investment professionals source and deliver ESG alpha to clients. This program features three in-depth sessions covering a range of topics including corporate sustainability reporting, the valuation of net zero pledges, and the measurement and pricing of climate risk. Each session addresses practical challenges and opportunities, providing insights into materiality mappings, carbon-adjusted valuations, and the integration of regulatory and technological advancements in sustainability data. The program culminates in a capstone project, where participants collaborate to develop real-life proposals for sourcing ESG alpha, fostering innovation, and cross-team collaboration under the mentorship of industry experts.
