Asahi Quality & Innovations Open Innovation Program

A central research center run by Asahi’s innovation unit, Asahi Quality & Innovations (AQI) engages in research themes that may lead to mid-to-long term developments at the company, while the R&D divisions of each Group Company carry out relevant R&D that directly links to business operations such as the development of products and quality assurance measures. These R&D organizations collaborate with each other in the pursuit of their respective research goals. From market research, AQI understands the competitive environment of the future is distinctly different that the competitive environment of today. Asahi’s goal is to promote R&D efforts in upcoming market needs to ensure Asahi Group survives and grows in new markets.
