People hold self-perceptions (mindsets) related to their personal and professional lives that are conscious and subconscious. Leaders learn what an “equity fluent leadership” mindset is, the importance of establishing a growth mindset and how it impacts their ability to lead effectively while positively impacting their organization and its culture more broadly. As we learn to “Break down Biases” and focus on allyship, learn from Professor Kellie McElhaney during this session to build your own authentic Equity Fluent Leadership voice and personal brand. Overall Objective(s): • Shift the leadership mindset around inclusion, what it is and how to be an equity fluent leader in a VUCA (volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous) world • Enable leaders to understand equity in a global context Expand the conversation beyond the gender debate, opening hearts and minds
